This is a one-of-one piece, painted by hand in my studio in Houston, Texas. There is no print run and no second version.

About this piece

Two words that describe creation itself. The phrase is short enough to hold in your head all day, and the painting is built to match that directness — heavy texture, deliberate strokes, nothing decorative for its own sake.

At 36 by 48 inches it reads clearly from across a room while still working at close range, where the surface texture becomes the subject. It sits well above a console table, in a hallway with some length to it, or in a quiet corner meant for reflection.
