About this piece
These are the verses recited for protection, the ones taught to children early and returned to throughout life. Bringing all four into one composition means the whole sequence lives on the wall together rather than being split across separate pieces.
At 48 by 48 inches it is a true square, which makes it unusually easy to place — squares sit comfortably where a portrait or landscape format would fight the wall. It works above a bed, in a prayer space, or centred on a chimney breast.
